Summer Day Camps

Collage of six photos showing children and teenagers involved in outdoor activities like hiking, crafting with clay, studying in the woods, exploring with a scientist, cooking in a kitchen, and observing a grasshopper.

Get ready for summer fun at Vermont Commons School!

Modeled after our signature Encounter Week program and designed for children ages 8-11, each 1-week session will give campers an opportunity to immerse themselves in hands-on, project-based activities that allow them to create, explore, and connect. There will be plenty of summertime fun and games as well! Play with clay and make sculptures, create a chain reaction machine and design a cardboard arcade game, combine culinary experimentation with creative writing to create a food magazine, explore the woods and study the nature of Vermont, and more!

9 weeks of summer camp at VCS! 5 different themes to choose from! Read more below.
