Nestled in Burlington, Vermont, our school is perfectly positioned between the Green Mountains and Lake Champlain, with easy access to Montreal, the Adirondacks, and world-class outdoor recreation. From hiking, skiing, and paddling to arts, culture, and innovative industry, the city of Burlington is the ideal setting for hands-on learning and discovery.
Our college preparatory program combines small classes, discussion-based learning, and individualized attention to help students thrive. Semester students become fully integrated with our full-time community, learning alongside peers and faculty while engaging in an exceptional academic environment. For spring semester juniors, our dedicated college counseling provides invaluable guidance enhancing preparation and positioning for greater success in the college admissions process.
Beyond the classroom, students dive into real-world learning through our renowned Encounter Week program. Ranging from studying tidal pool ecology in Acadia National Park to exploring art in New York City, from back-country skiing through the Adirondacks to filming a documentary on wind power in Vermont, Encounter Weeks immerse students in new ideas, cultures, and challenges.
