The Annual Fund fills the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a VCS education, and helps pay for all of the things students need on their journeys–financial aid, athletics, Encounter Weeks, books, technology, and more.

Restricted funds support specific programs and endeavors at VCS, including the Campaign for Vermont Commons, the Community Partners Fund, and senior class gifts. (To make an unrestricted gift to be used where it is most needed, please give to the VCS Annual Fund.)

The Vermont Commons School Community Association is dedicated to fostering a strong, connected, and engaged school community.

Donations help provide support for school events, allow the community to celebrate milestones together, and enhance the VCS experience for all.

Day of Giving 2026

Every gift made before the end of our Day of Giving on Tuesday, March 31, will be matched, dollar for dollar, by a group of generous VCS families up to a total of $13,000!

Let’s make the most of that match and aim to raise $13,000 by our deadline! All donations will support the VCS Annual Fund which is essential to everything we do, from Encounter Weeks to chemistry labs (and more)!
