Giving
The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of the Vermont Commons School Development Program. It is the primary means by which the School bridges the gap between tuition revenues and operating expenses. This gap is typical at most independent schools. At Vermont Commons School, this gap is about $2,500 per student.
Contributions to the Annual Fund help reduce the pressure to raise tuition. This is key, since tuition is not tax deductible. Contributing to the Annual Fund helps ensure that the following initiatives are supported at Vermont Commons:
-
Academic Enrichment Center
-
Alumni Association
- Encounter Weeks
- Financial Aid Program
- Research and Services Program
- Faculty Salaries and Benefits
- Small Class Size
- World Language Program
The Development Office at Vermont Commons works with a dedicated group of Trustees and other volunteers to raise funds from parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and friends of the School. Our goal for the 2007-08 Annual Fund Campaign is $195,000.
There are many ways to give to the Vermont Commons School Annual Fund. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution today by printing and completing the donation form. A gift at any level is welcome and appreciated. Thank you!
