I grew up in Amherst, New York, where I developed a love of rowing and the outdoors. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Hobart and William Smith College where I was also a 4 year athlete on the William Smith Varsity Crew Team. Following college I moved to the Upper Valley to enter a graduate program in Chemistry at Dartmouth College where I also competed with the Upper Valley Rowing Club and coached the local high school and community rowing teams. I am currently living in Huntington with my husband Eliot, our son Mason, who was born in August 2007, and our dog Luther. I’m excited to share my love of the outdoors and teaching and learning with the VCS Community.
