Best VCS Moment

When I first learned that there was such a school. The best is yet to come.

Interests and Hobbies

I think it is obvious where my passions lie, but to put it simply, I like to be outdoors. I enjoy learning new things, plants, skills, techniques. I have dabbled in learning primitive skills - fire and shelter building, stalking, etc. I have great respect for friends who excel in those skills. I enjoy kayaking, canoeing, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, just taking a "walk about", sitting quietly to hear the wonders of nature. I love to study the world around me, the trees, rocks, wildlife and plants; their interconnectedness and our reliance on the whole package. I was raised in a family that camped, fished, snowmobiled, and boated together. I have passed those interests on to two my daughters, Samantha and Casey, and look forward to sharing them with my grandson, Jack, as well.
