Hello From Chengdu!
Just a quick check in. Today the students brought warmth, cheer and laughter to elementary school students while teaching lessons on the English language and American culture. At one point every ten year old student in the classroom was singing the Queen song, "We Will Rock You!" and stomping their feet and clapping their hands in unison. It was amazing. The students are receiving an incredible education here. They jump at every opportunity to make a new friend and develop meaningful relationships that provoke thought outside of our normal, comfortable sphere of influence. The depth of these experiences and relationships will last a lifetime. There are many pictures to share, but we have attached one from our time at the school.
