Welcome to Vermont Commons School - a place where students of all types can find a common place to learn, to share, and to get excited about their education. We have designed our website to be informative and helpful to parents, alums, friends, and prospective families. We hope you find what you need, but please feel free to contact us directly as well.
Our rigorous college preparatory courses are coupled with a sense of outdoor adventure to provide a balanced approach to modern education. The emphasis we place on ecological citizenship and 21st century skills involves being learned as well as active, and develops in our students the confidence to face and improve the world around them.
Providing an education that is interesting, personal, and practical, as well as theoretical, takes the best we have. Our experienced and talented faculty members are dedicated to the success of each child. They love to work in a school that values individuality, character, diversity, and respect.
